An Arizona community honors 96-year-old veteran who treats neighborhood pets.
Bill Tallyn, a 96-year-old veteran from Mesa, Arizona is reminding us all of the power of small acts of kindness.
Every day, he gets on his bicycle and delivers treats to every home with a pup in his neighborhood. Bill makes his rounds every single day, without fail. He’s been doing this for decades!
Bill’s act of kindness has inspired the entire community. Neighbors drop off dog treats at his doorstep so he doesn’t have to buy them all the time.
A local electric bike company Lectric Ebikes also surprised Bill with a brand-new bike so he can continue to deliver smiles to his community.
Have a Hopeful Week Everyone!
There is a LOT going on in the world right now, and so many us feel scared, hopeless and genuinely worried about what’s happening around us and what we see on our screens.
Being kind to someone else isn’t going to fix everything in one shot. But if we can show each other that the hope for a better, kinder world relies on every single one of us trying to be a little bit better, that hope begins to be restored.
And when we have hope, it opens the door to change and growth. Please take care of yourselves, and the people around you.
